Acrylic Skin Collages – Tammy DeCaro

Two 3 hour sessions for this new class exploring acrylic skins and collage over a fluid art painting. The first session includes creating a fluid art background on canvas as well as multiple acrylic skins. Acrylic skins refer to the concept of allowing fluid acrylic paint to dry on heavy plastic and then peeling them up to apply to collage pieces. In class two we will collage the skins along with papers, stencils, textures and any additional embellishments you want to bring to add to the composition. Acrylic skins are versatile for collage as well as applying to other artwork. If time allows, additional ways to use acrylic skins will be demonstrated. Feel free to bring additional embellishments such as stencils, favorite papers, ribbon, etc. for your piece.

Supply Fee: $80 to instructor covers all materials for workshop.
