Get out on the water and explore the secluded islands by boat. As the weather warms up, you can spot manatees in coastal habitats around the Gulf of Mexico. Kayaking outfitters are taking people to launch sites on the Great Calusa Blueway Paddling Trail to explore the waters flowing through Pine Island, Matlacha and beyond.
Come evening time, your choices around the Fort Myers area are nearly endless. Take in a live performance, enjoy a relaxed dinner as you overlook the water or soak up the energy into the night.
