Business Resources

Lee County Government is investing in Human & Business Services to provide immediate assistance for individuals, families and businesses. Local funds are available through the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES) Act federal stimulus package. 

Programs available include:

  • Individual Assistance Program
  • Small Business Relaunch Program
  • PPE for Small Businesses Program

Other Business Resources: 

SBA Economic Injury Disaster Loans: Can provide vital economic support to small businesses to help overcome the temporary loss of revenue they are experiencing.

Bridge Loan: Governor Ron DeSantis has activated the Emergency Bridge Program for small businesses and the U.S. Small Business Administration is offering low-interest federal disaster loans for working capital to Florida small businesses suffering substantial economic injury as a result of COVID-19.

The Florida Department of Economic Opportunity has a Short Time Compensation program available to help small businesses continue to pay workers even with reduced work hours. More information here.

Business Damage Assessment Survey: ​The Business Damage Assessment Survey is a critical piece of the Florida Department of Economic Opportunity's efforts to help gather the information needed to evaluate and access tools to help businesses potentially lessen the impacts of COVID-19 and help the economy recover.
