You can positively impact our community

Bring Your Meeting Home

Lee County has a quality of life and appeal that’s obvious the moment you arrive. As a result, our reputation as a premier meetings and conferences city is growing. If you live or work in Lee County, it’s time to stand up and share your pride.

If you’re a member of a company or association that hosts meetings and conferences (that require 10 or more overnight hotel rooms)*, let your organization know that the Lee County Visitor and Convention Bureau (VCB) would like to bid on your future meeting.

Just provide us with the organization name and contact info and we’ll take it from there.

Our goal is simple: increase the number of meetings hosted in our area. Because when out-of-town attendees stay at our hotels, dine in our restaurants and shop in our stores, it creates a positive economic impact for everyone who lives here. Also, a successful experience shows off everything that makes Lee County great. That can lead to repeat meetings and even to the relocation or expansion of businesses to our community. Every relocation starts with a visit. We know how to make that visit a great one.

Thanks to our experience in pre-conference planning, visitor and conference services, we can provide the resources necessary to make your next meeting a success. Our Fort Myers and Sanibel meeting facilities rival those of other Florida meeting venues. What's more, the VCB team will help bring any organization’s vision to life to ensure an inspired meeting. Spread the word and share in the success!

When your organization books with a Lee County hotel, their meeting will receive our Island Incentive Offer. This means they’ll receive a rebate of $3 per actualized room night. All the way up to $5,000. On top of that, by being an ambassador for Lee County, and encouraging fellow business leaders to do the same, you get to take pride in where you live and work. Of course, there’s also the economic impact that national, state and regional meetings have on our community, particularly those happening off-season. Being a hometown hero has its perks, right?
