Fort Myers has an endless list of choices and quality layouts that make golf easily accessible to visitors. Unique Feature(s): Fort Myers Country Club is the oldest facility on the west coast of Florida. Built in the heart of Fort Myers, the club is one mile from the famed Edison & Ford Winter Estates. Both gentlemen enjoyed playing the course in the 1920s.
Golf architect Steve Smyers transformed the course during the $5.8 million project with elevated bunkers and greens. The course received extensive modernization to drainage, turf quality, pro shop and bathroom renovations and operational efficiency.
