Ring in the New Year in Fort Myers

At Cape Coral’s New Year’s Eve Celebration & Ball Drop, the festivities start at 6pm and there’s a ball drop at 8pm and midnight. So, if you have younger kids, they don’t have to miss out on the fun. Enjoy live music, food and shopping vendors, kids’ games and activities, fireworks and more at this free, family-friendly street festival. (The streets of downtown Cape Coral will be closed off to traffic at SE 47th Terrace, between SE 9th Place & SE 11th Place.) 

Downtown Fort Myers

Ring in the New Year in the charming downtown Fort Myers Historic River District, with First Street closed to make exploring that much easier. Bring the whole family and celebrate with live performances on stage by Smack Daddy, School of Rock, Chasing Denver, DJ JC, Downtown Ross Brown, the Theo's and much more. Enjoy food trucks and sweet vendors throughout the night as well as the fireworks and ball drop at midnight. Adults can also enjoy the district's lively rooftop bars and raise a glass to 2025 under the stars.  

Fort Myers Beach

Stay and play in Fort Myers Beach and you can see the ball drop and the offshore fireworks display at midnight in Times Square. Enjoy free live music in Bayshore Park, 4pm to 6pm, with Chasing Denver and Guilty Pleasure, plus many other restaurants and bars offering live music, happy hours and special menus as part of their NYE celebrations.
